need to rund a batch file to check files on the network... the date mod. and spit out a text file.

Assuming you have a drive Z: mapped to the correct directory on your file server, the following batch file will list file names with their modification dates. You can run it and send its output to another text file by adding " > outfile.txt" to the command line.

@echo off
for %%f in (Z:\*) do echo %%~tf %%f
