Batch file to set font in notepad

Specs: Windows 7
I'm trying to set the font in notepad to 48pt and bold it. What's the proper code to do this from a batch file? I am currently running one batch file to call a second and the second starts the notepad file. Everything works, just need to set the font.

I doubt this is possible. Almost certainly setting the font is an action that can be done only from within the program. I have never heard of an editor that could set the font from the command line and in any event notepad is a very basic program with limited features.

you can do this from vbscript, you can create a batch file which will create this vbscript on the fly and call it silently. The vbscript will mimic the action like it's being done from the mouse. VBScript send keys script i mean.
