batch file to open multiple firefox tabs

Specs: Windows XP
Hi
I am writing a batch file (or at least trying to) that will concatenate a list of urls from a file with spaces between them and open them all up with firefox in different tabs. If I run:
start firefox http://www.rte.ie http://www.python.org in a batch file it opens up all of the urls in different tags as required. I wanted to get the urls from a file that had each url on its own line and pass this to the 'start firefox' command but this did not seem to work. Here is my batch file so far:

set "fileList="
FOR /F "usebackq delims==" %i IN ("C:\Documents and Settings\mdevine\Desktop\urls.txt") DO call set "fileList=%fileList% %i"
echo %fileList%
start firefox %fileList%

This does not work. Any hints?

Start firefox.exe www.computing.net www.commandlinekungfu.com www.robvanderwoude.com

Just use spaces.

That didn't work. I got it working with the following:

set "fileList="
FOR /F "usebackq delims==" %%i IN ("C:\Documents and Settings\mdevine\Desktop\urls.txt") DO call set "fileList=%%fileList%% %%i"
start firefox %fileList%

Thx
