I could use some help on this.

The server has drivers for about 3000 plus devises.

Almost all computers being put together are missing drivers.

Is it possible to make a self loading program on floppy that once inserted will map itself to the server\driver dir so drivers can be updated.

Or...perhaps an offline program like the online scanners that I can put on the server and use our own data base. I have googled but only found programs that require being online. Need something inhouse.

The purpose is to install drivers off the server rather than the internet.

Thank you for reading.

W.L.

Well I got the map bat figured out...will test tomorrow on server.

Got the open system bat done as well.

The bat to find just the missing drivers does not work though.

set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1

Still need some help on a program to get the
missing drivers to automatically install.
