Batch file saving in folder on %drive%

May 11, 2011 at 07:32:34
Specs: Windows Vista
I need a batch file command to move a file to a folder on the current drive.

Right now, I am using move c:\urls.html %drive% to move the file to the folder on the drive that the batch file is running from, but I would like the file to move to another folder, Log Files, within the drive.

I have tried move c:\urls.html %drive%\Log Files with no success. I am new to batch files so Im sure there is something not correct about this.

Use quotes around folders with embedded spaces:

move c:\urls.html "%drive%\Log Files"

When your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
