.Bat creates multiple files (1) (2) (3)

Specs: Windows 7
Terrible Brief statement, sorry.. lol

Basically.. the idea is to make an account manager.. I want the user to be able to save all their credentials for the account into a file using the .bats menu. What the account is for, what email is attached to it, etc. All the good stuff. I'm kinda noob with bat stuff.. I never really got into it all, but I thought this would be a neat little project to do.

I'm not wanting anyone to create it for me, or anything like that.. lol.

I just am curious if someone can tell me how to properly make the .bat look at the files and if there is one with the same name it will add a number next to it.

Example: file.ext, file(2).ext, file(3).ext.. so on.

Any help would be appreciated.
