Solved Automate a file check process...

Specs: Windows 64

What we currently have to do is:

Open a CMD box in Win 7

Then we have to go to the location of the .exe file. It is networked. Example:

Once there, we have to copy and paste the network location of the target file, so the command line is:

ckfile.exe \\test\test\tobechecked.YYYYMMDDHHMMSS

So I would like to just run a batch to automate the process.

Should be simple to:
pushd \\tools\tools
[I don't have a network to test it.]

Where will you get this:

M2 Golden-Triangle

✔ Best Answer
You probably don't need to switch directories.
\\tools\tools\ckfile.exe \\test\test\tobechecked.YYYYMMDDHHMMSS

The real question is how are you going to get the "YYYYMMDDHHMMSS" part.

Sorry Razor, tried to "vote up" but it went down! Tell Justin to get his voting machine fixed. (And of course, then I could not fix my mistake, Lol!)
