I am making a bat file to run a series of program after the os is loaded, the bat file contains some selections (1,2,3,4, etc), is there a way to: when i key in 1, it will automatically "Press" the Enter button? which means I don't have to key "Enter" manually.... Thankss!

You need the choice.exe command. It doesn't come with Windows XP. You can find it in a few places like Windows 2003 Resource Kit Tools etc.

I gave some detailed descriptions to get choice.exe out of a small download at http://www.computing.net/answers/programming/how-to-set-a-default-choice-in-bat/17081.html As far as I can tell it is still valid, though the microsoft download page is visually different.
