i turne a microsoft document with some batch commands in it to a batch file. whaen i ran it, nothing happened. When i hit edit i saw lots of weird letters and stuff and i added the command pause to the seccond to last line and ran it. My computer beeped even though it has no speakers and the weird letters flashe d across the screen. I turned off the file but i am worried that i broke th computer.

Cheese, the more you eat it, the less you care about how mouldy it is!

If you want to make a batch file, start witha TEXT editor.

"My computer beeped even though it has no speakers"

Now there's a concept. 07 hex is the usual culprit.
