Has anyone set up a VPN connection to a WinXP home pc? I'm doing this for
the first time and all the help files I've read only address connection a
home pc to a work server. My home pc would be the server for the iPhone to
connect to and I'm not understanding the set up screen in the
Settings/General/VPN Configuration area.

Thanks for any help
dennis

that's useful for ipsec, but i doubt it's needed for pptp which is what
his home pc would be using. pptp is very simple.

For MacOS, you can download the "iPhone Configuration Utility" at
apple.com. You configure all your settings (VPN etc) on your Mac, then
it'll send a special email to your own mail account. Open that email on
your iPhone, and it'll use the settings.

No idea whether such utility exists for Windows...
