iPhone. What software requirements are need to be compatible?
Trendnet.com has a few demo cameras but I can not view them on the

This is nothing to do with the camera and all to do with how your software
works. If you are hosting your camera picture on a web page, all you need
to do is set up a web page which refreshes itself in a manner that the
iPhone can handle. This can be done using a web-page which automatically
forwards to itself every minute/30 seconds/whatever, or by using JavaScript
to reload the image showing, or a number of other methods.

The message here is to get a system working that keeps the current frame
visible in a standard web browser, then use the web browser on your iPhone
to view it.

Thanks SImon. I found a program called MobiScope at
http://www.mobiscope.com/

I'm really pleased with the program and have had up to 3 webcams
running at once with motion detection and recording. It does live
viewing from the any browser and from the iPhone too. I think I've
found what I was looking for.

Why would they stop it? They get a 30% cut of every Orb purchase from the
iTunes store!

You don't have to pay Apple a penny for any content you load onto your
"Pocket Box Office" if you don't want to. You can simply rip your CDs or
DVDs, load the files into your iTunes library and sync them to the iPhone.
The only hassle is converting the videos into formats the iPhone will
accept, but there are plenty of freeware utilities (as well as commercial
ones) that can handle that.

Let me do you jailed iPhoners a little favor. I'm using this:

http://corp.orb.com/

and have been for a couple of years, to provide home cable TV service to
some GIs stuck in Iraq and Afghanistan who live around here. They don't
miss the football games with Orb straight from their houses and they get to
see the latest pictures and movies of their kids, the dent in the door of
their favorite car Mom put in it, and the flood from the broken pipe in the
attic.....right on their military laptop on Army/AF bandwidth in the tent
in Tikrit.

Recently, Orb has taken a shine to your little pocket box office and felt
pity you had to get s--- on by iTunes for your music box office. So, they
simply bypassed it.

http://corp.orb.com/en/orblivemedia

That's pretty cool and I don't think Apple can stop it.

Put Orb on your Windows PC, plug in a digital TV card and you can watch any
video files on the PC, live TV from your own cable connection, get to ALL
your music without the iTunes bulls--- nanny....right on your pocket box
office without paying the s---s at Apple a penny.

Bon Appetit!
