For once Larry has a serious point - whether you buy your iphone via a
contract or on PAYG it's your phone so surely it's up to you what you do
with it.

This is the equivalent of microsoft dictating what software I'm allowed
to run on my PC and putting 'features' in windows so that only
authorised software bought via microsoft can be installed. We all know
what would happen if they tried that!

Mike

PS I have no wish to jailbreak my iphone.

A games console is one thing - all manufacturers try to limit the
software, MS got into all kinds of trouble just for bundling software
with the OS.
