Since I updated the firmware everything is working fine, except when I
connect the iPhone to my Mac the "Sync in Progress" screen goes on
forever.I've reset the phone and run disk maintenance routines on the computer,
but it looks like the sync is never completed. In fact it does sync,
it's just that the screen never goes away.Anyone have any ideas what to do about this?

for me, it took forever. I think the computer uploaded the 230mb update,
then backed up the iphone (and downloaded the 230mb OS back to the
computer).
Just run it overnight, if it looks like that is what is happening.
(check the itunes status bar, see if it says "backing up iphone").
It took an hour or so, maybe longer.
