Is it possible to have two users access the same email address on a desktop, two laptops and two iPhones? The desktop acts as the server and we want all emails to remain on there until we delete them. We have had many issues trying to get the iPhones to work with the email address. If it is possible, can we have both users access multiple addresses on all three at the same time? The latest issue is the email account locks up every time one user tries to use it on an iPhone if the other user is on a laptop or the desktop.

You won't be able to use the desktop (running Outlook 2007) as a "server", but you may be able to get all the devices working together nicely anyhow. it depends mostly on what email service you are using. Thank you for answering! The email service is through Charter. They only have POP3, according to the service tech I spoke with this morning.

I would configure all of your devices to connect to the pop3 server and download email messages. In Outlook 2007 you have the option to "leave messages on server", "delete after x days", and "remove when deleted from 'Deleted Items' folder". You should have similar options on all devices. You can set the computer to leave the messages on server until removed from the Deleted Items folder, then set all other devices to never remove the messages from the server. I think that will do what you are looking for. PS: You may also want to play with the "server timeouts" settings on each device. Some mail servers won't let more than one device connect to a single mailbox at the same time, and some servers/devices don't disconnect properly when they are done downloading mail. By making the timeout shorter (say one minute), you can force a disconnection after one minute of inactivity.
