I am trying Windows 7 Beta(7077) I have installed the latest iTunes but my 2G iPhone is not recognized when connected via the dock, I get a 'USB devise not recognized' error and no drivers are installed. Probably the USB drivers are marked for installation on specific operating systems, and have detected Windows7 and bailed out. I had problems installing the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi on Windows 2003 server. See if you can find that file and try loading it again.
