when connected via the dock, I get a 'USB devise not recognized' error
and no drivers are installed.Any solutions?

operating systems, and have detected Windows7 and bailed out.I had problems installing the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi on Windows
2003 server. See if you can find that file and try loading it again. If it doesn't, then google my post "iTunes 8.1.1 on Windows 2003 server"

I extracted the .msi from the iTunes installer and installed it in Vista
compatibility mode which seems to have worked for the moment. Thanks

I'm only two weeks in but I'm happy so far. I'm more interested in the
Media Centre side of 7, testing this weekend.M

Microsoft revealed that Windows 7 would offer an optional,
downloadable Windows XP virtual machine today to provide full
backwards compatibility. Veteran Windows watchers Rafael Rivera and
Paul Thurrott of SuperSite for Windows were given the nod to release
the secret. The Windows XP Mode won't ship with Windows 7, but will be available
as a free download for Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate system
owners.I read elsewhere, but I can't remember where, that upgrading from XP to
Win7 would be a nightmare, but upgrading from Vista would be very easy.--

At this point it's just nice to ask someone that's already doing it.

the world coming to an end on Dec 21, 2012. It took the buyers about that
long to do the "paid beta testing" for Micro$oft, right?\I don't think Vista ever got out of beta testing, as is evident by how many
enterprise user IT departments refused to "upgrade" their fine-working
WinXP boxes.--
