there are a number of apps that can adjust white balance, exposure,
brightness, contrast, etc. there is no zoom on the camera, however,
the images can be easily cropped. there are even panorama apps to
stitch images on the phone.

The Most Famous iPhone Photo
January 16, 2009 12:05 PM Filed in: iPhone | Photography
By Robert Lachman
The iPhone cell phone photograph of the US Airways jet floating in the
Hudson River by Janis Krums now has to be the world's most famous
iPhone cell photograph. He uploaded the photograph to Twitpic, which
then posted the link with a short message to Twitter, and now has
237,835 views.

The newspaper I work for, the Los Angeles Times, used the incredible
photograph, which moved over the Associated Press wire service, across
six-columns on the front page.

The photograph, taken with the 2MB camera of the iPhone, looked very
good considering it was originally a vertical photo.

I wonder if there is any chance I can get to Krums to summit his photo
to my Cool Cell Phone Photos group on Flickr. We have some very good
photos, but this one is definitely a cut above the rest.
