I am using an Ipaq 3650 with Yahoo Messenger for Widows CE Version 2.3.4.0. It worked very well up until 7/10/02, when now as I log on with the Ipaq, I get the following message:
"You have been signed off as you have signed in on another machine, or you arwe signing in too frequently. Please try again later". I get this message every time I try to log on, even when I haven't logged onto Yahoo Messenger on another machine.

Yahoo Messenger works very well on my desktop.

I have downloaded the application again, removed and downloaded and it still gives me the aforementioned error message. Please advise how I can resolve this issue and use Yahoo Messenger on my Ipaq again. Thank you.

I am having the same problem and now get continuous, not connected, instead. As I understand it, Yahoo has changed the message protocol to thwart those people trying to make a combined platform for multiple IM services.

Any help appreciated

Although this is a long shot try getting you home/office machine to connect to yahoo messenger first. Then while the iPaq is synced (you should be able to access the net if your iPaq is synced and your home/office machine is online) connect Yahoo Messenger. If this works correctly, yahoo messenger on your home/office machine should disconnect you and you will automatically be signed in on your iPaq.
If this fails then best bet is to get a new account.

I've never tried this with Yahoo though but it works every time on MSN or ICQ.
