Windows ce and windows mobile?

what is the difference between windows ce 3.0 and windows mobile 2003, are they different os? if an adapter says its compatible with windows ce 3 will it work with mobile 2003, i know its a retard question but i need to know, help

Hope someone knows for sure. I understand that 3.0 is for keyboard types of pda. 2003 is more for palm type without built in keyboards. They both share similar roots. Without a for sure from one or both companies there would be no way to for sure tell. I would not like you to spend good money to find out this one card you wanted doesn't work.
You would have to find out what model of each and try to search it. There are just some odd deals for example a Dell that should be good but some cards will not work on it no matter the OS version or updates.

They are the same thing, both are WindowsCE, BUT windows mobile 2003 is WindowsCE 4.x
It is not that Linux isn't friendly, it's just that linux knows to choose its friends.
