I turned my phone on one day, and memory card apparently wasn't there?
I checked, and it was properly clicked into the phone and everything.
I've tried cleaning it, also, but it still won't work.This means I can't listen to my songs, access my pictures/videos, or have more than a few contacts.
It's proving to be a great inconveniance.I have a sony ericsson, and the memory card is a SanDick M2 2GB.

When you say cleaning it, do you mean cleaning the gold pins on the back of the card or Formatting the Device via the phones firmware (wet-ware). If its a new Card it may need to be formatted so your phone can see it?!
In the memory Card options on the phone look for Format Memory Card.
