Comment:

High hopes for this device fell short when the aftersales service didnt come through as a company such as this should be providing

plus points:

good amount of power, most memory and features for a pda i have seen in a long time

minus points:

the warrenty isnt worth the paper its written on

i am being charged £77 for the crime of buying the correct gps antenna, and plugging it in 6/7 times to use tomtom. After this low amount of usage, the plug fell out having snapped for no reason i can see, and this will be described as "accidental damage"

this effectively means that even when it comes back, the plug cant really be used, just incase it happens again, so thats 24 quid for the antenna, 77 quid for the repair and around the 50 quid mark to have to buy a bluetooth unit to bypass a plug that in this persons opinion....is not suitable for the purpose in question

in conclusion:

if you can live with a lower powered device, buy HP instead, at least you will get peace of mind with a warrenty thats worth it
