Hello, I downloaded the correct trial program for universal remote control by omniremote and when I load up the software for the first time it asks for the built in signal or the external one, I selected the internal to fit my palm. And I go to use it and now it has a error message up there saying "Port Blocked ? Another program is blocking the serial port check other IR programs on the Pilot. Check the prefs program, make sure serial/IR is set to Cradle." I didnt really understand it, but I think I knew what I was doing, but nothing worked, still the same thing, can you tell me whats wrong and how can I fix it please?

I'm not sure what type of PDA you have, but I had exactly the same error with my Palm. According to the FAQ section of http://www.pacificneotek.com there is currently no working version with either a Palm m500 or m505, though you can send them a note to inform you when they have a new version ready.
