I'm trying to write a simple application that talks over a serial connection between my PC and Treo700wx, however, I'm not seeing any data on either end. I'm able to run the same application and send data between an iPAQ 2795 and the PC, so I'm not sure what I need to look for on the Treo that's different.

On the Treo, I'm able to see COM1 and COM3. When I try to use COM3, I get an IOException, so I've been trying to use COM1 instead (I'm also using COM1 on the iPAQ). I'm also trying to use the same connection settings as I did on the iPAQ (9600 baud, no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no handshaking).

I've even tried it with a null modem, but as far as I know, it shouldn't need it (the PC being a DCE device and the Treo a DTE) since the Treo is designed to sync to the PC with the serial cable.

If anyone knows of anything else that might be an issue that I'm missing, I'd appreciate the feedback.

Thanks in advance for any help,
PK
