Hi - any help would be hugely appreciated! I'm unable to connect my Toshiba Pocket PC e330 to my Win XP laptop. I'm using the USB cradle and have followed all the instructions that came with the drivers. ActiveSync just refuses to find the PDA. When I put the Pocket PC in its dock Win XP says that it's detected new hardware and brings up the wizard (which in the instructions i'm told to cancel) - but I guess this implies that the hardware and cable is working fine.
Any ideas?
Thank you - Jake.

I had a problem with that trying to get it to find a compaq Ipaq, But I installed pocket mirror and it found it and synced right away. I got a new laptop and the old laptop was using pocket mirror. so if you had pocket mirror installed before you might want to try reinstalling it. That worked for me.

I've got the same problem. I have never had pocket mirror, but can't get my 330 to be seen by my new Windows XP computer. Worked on my old W98 machine.
I have looked at the various microsoft help pages, uninstalled, reinstalled etc, but to no avail. I've tried both Activesync 3.5, which came with my 330, and 3.6, downloaded from microsoft.com. One potential cause is that clicking file/connection settings on activesync doesn't bring up the dialogue box, activesync hanging- both on 3.5 and 3.6. Uninstalling and Reinstalling gives the same error.

Insert PDA with the power OFF in the Cradle and connect the AC Adapter and the USB to the Computer with the power turned off. Turn on the computer, when the XP detects your PDA run the setup wizard. After the wizard is done run the ActiveSync and then TURN ON the PDA. The ActiveSync program will connect to your PDA and you must follow the instrucion for synchronizing the programs you want. And I guess you are done.
Now I have a problem connecting My e335 to NT 4.0. I insalled the ActiveSync but NT do not recognize my PDA. I know that the USB connection does not work with The Windows NT so what should I Do? Anybody can halp please?
