Hi David,
For use with TTN you'll need the following: -A GPS mouse (either wired or wireless if you have bluetooth on your ipaq) -TomTom software -Memory card (usually Secure Digital of Compact Flash) to store the differents maps on it.
It's also recommended to have a card reader on your pc to transfer the maps on the expansion card.
