Syncing Two Phone

My wife and I both have windows smart phones and would like to sync them to the same computer. On our old computer we use Earthlink software and were able to switch between email account when using their mailbox and Explorer settings for each of us were kept but when we tried to sync both phones all the info seemed to go to one Outlook mailbox. We now have a new computer and would like to see if it possible to do this or is it best to set up two windows accounts on the one computer?
