You received a CD with your Palm IIIc and on that CD is a program that allows your palm to sync with Outlook97 or Outlook Express. There are instructions in a file on that CD and the manual has instructions on setting up Outlook to sync with your Palm device.
Side note: mine works great... installed easily and works fine.
I verify a CD and manual, on their only talk about configuration for the mail, but nothing about calendar or contact.

During the install of the Palm software, it should ask the question of what you want to sync with - Outlook or the Palm Desktop.
You may have to uninstall the Palm software in order to set it up...

Open CD ROM Look for Palm SFW and DISK one. Open PocketMirror folder and click on setup with blue monitor sign. Install Pocket Mirror. That should take care of it. If it doesn't go to www.palm.com/support chat with agent. it is free
