Storage Card Memory is gone

All of a sudden my scandisk SD memory card "lost" all of its data. When i go to file explorer or explore on my computer it shows that there are no files. however when i go to setting and memory on my pda it says i have used the 60mb, but i can't find the files what i really want to do is just erase my sd card but don't have a card reader any help? thanks
