I am having trouble trying to get my wife's Sony Clie SJ20 to do a successful Hotsync over the USB port. I can pull up the Device Manager in XP and see the Clie appear in the USB list. However, it eventually errors out with no data transferred. I've got the 4.0.1 version of the Hotsync manager with the patch. I've noticed that when I click on the right mouse button over the icon, it does not give "Local USB" as an option. I've worked with Sony's Tech Support but we're no closer to an answer. I picked up a program called "Pilot Install", which I've transferred different programs out of with no trouble at all, so I'm at a loss as to why the Hotsync Manager doesn't work.
