I have a Sony S300 and use Windows XP professional. I have tried multiple times to sync with XP. It does not work. I continually get the message 'Unable to initiate HotSync operations because the serial port is in use by another application. Also, each time I unplug my Clie from the desktop the com port number is increased I am currently up to com 19. If anyone can help please let me know.
