Hi All,
I bought a Sandisk 64 MB SD memory card, but I can't get my HP Ipaq h1940 to recognize it. It inserts fine, and it click in place. My understanding is that the Ipaq should recognize it right away, and a new folder should appear under My Device in the File Manager. But the folder doesn't show up, and under Settings -> System -> About, it says the expansion slot is not in use.
Can anybody help? Do I need to prepare the card first (i.e. format it)?

Nevermind, turned out to be a bad memory card after all. I took it back to the store and they tested it there on multiple machines, including a card reader, another ipaq and a digital camera. The card was fried.
