screen problem

I cannot see all icons on the screen, at the bottom has like a banner that covers the screen, it's about a 1/4" inch. Everything seems to work ok but I cannot see what is under this little banner. I already hard reset but did not work. Any help will be appreciated.

Are you running Palm or Pocket PC? Which screen are the icons in, the programs menu,file explorer etc. Is this banner an advert kind of banner or does it simply appear that the screen is "off" at that position.
