I have an ipaq 2200 which i synch using name, Pocket PC 1 recently my ipaq reset it self to factory default, not a problem i thought as i have a backup, so i tried to restore the backup, but because it reset itself when i connect using active synch it calls its self pocket PC when i try & restore it says, the selected backup file was created from a different type of mobile device, so wont let me restore it, i don't know if it is due to the change in name or another issue but please can anyone help as this is a major headache. Thanks Steve
