I am in need of a reliable PDA. I have been very happy with the reliability of the cheap Nokia $.99 phones I've had over the years. PDAs have been another story. First, a Palm m500 that died (battery charging circuit) at 13 months. Then an m105 failed (memory backup capacitor) after about 18 months, then began spontaneously resetting at 24 months.

I have borrowed an HP1910 to try out, and I'm afraid it's not very tough either. Wouldn't turn on this morning...prematurely dead battery. Not too impressed with the inefficiency of Windows CE compared to Palm OS either.

I don't need a camera or video. Heck, I don't even need color! Reliability is key.

Thanks for reading my long post. Would appreciate any advice.
