Comment: My OS appears to be debilitated. The pocket pc will not sync - not even initiate sync - when I connect it. The pc sees the PDA just fine. USB works great for all other applications. I'm running XP sp2, and didn't have a problem for two years with XP sp1 OR sp2. Recently I updated a program that looks at databases on the pocket pc - is it possible that it deleted something required, and is it possible to reinstall the OS?

Reply: (edit)I had a similar problem and the only way i couyld even fix it a bit was to revert back to activesync 3.5. lord knows why but it just works better. Still doesnt work all of the time though. If the problem continues try doing a hard reset. Mattmatt@bbcomputing.co.uk www.bbcomputing.co.uk

Reply: (edit)As far as I know you cannot re-install your OS, but only do a hard reset as stated above Intel P4 3.2E Ghz@ 3.8Ghz
