I know absolutely nothing about these gizmos. So, I am seeking advice.

I need a PDA or similar device for one very simple, narrow, limited purpose. I deal in used books, and look for finds at estate sales, garage sales, thrift stores, etc. I want a device that will allow me to wirelessly log onto the Net, access one particular site (www.abebooks.com), and use their search function to ascertain the potential market value for a book.

This is the ONLY use I have for a PDA type device. I don't need super speed, nor want to look at videos or pictures, nor need to send e-mail or play games. Just this one basic (but, for me, very important) use.

Any suggestions on the most affordable (including monthly fees) and reliable device I could purchase to do this? Sure, it would be a business write-off, but I am a po' person and not looking to spend a fortune up front.

Thanks!

You might see if the site has a database you can download to a computer and then sync to a PDA.
