Problem with Sync - Power Point to

For some reason I cannot sync Power Point files to my PDA. I've been able to do it in the past. I am using Pocket Slides on the PDA. I can see the files in "My Documents," they show a full red Icon (like used for a program). Actual .ppt files have a different I con (small red icon attached to a file). Maybe this is why it is not reading the file.
I have set up the converstion off .ppv to .ppt in Active Sync.
