Problem syncing Outlook with Clie

I have a Sony Clie PEG SJ-30 running Palm OS. I began syncing this with my work PC this past year, which runs Outlook for calendar, email, addresses. When I sync, Outlook tries to delete items from my Clie when the date has passed. I like to keep those items in my Clie and want to figure out how to make Outlook stop deleting them.
