Problem importing vCards

I'm the happy owner of a Psion 5mx. I exported as
vcards all my address book from my MacIntosh
software (Mac OS X). But my Psion Contacts
software seem unable to import them. All works as
if the software was doing the job, but after a long
waiting time there is no new contacts in the list. I
tried with with a smaller number of addresses and
also with another software (iContacts) but the
result is not better.

All my documentation tell that vCard is a universal
standard working on Mac and Psion.

What else should I try?
