I have seen a few posts regarding PDA sync in Citrix. I can make Palm happen. I cannot make ActiveSync for PocketPC work in a reliable way.
Here is what I have noticed. I can publish ActiveSync in Citrix MFXP. I then remap the client com port to the server and syncing begins. Seems nice. The problem arises when user 2 comes along, fires up ActiveSync via Citrix and hits the same farm server as user 1 did. ActiveSync is already running on this server with the com port locked. User 2 is out of luck until the activesync process is killed. Not good. It simply does not work.
I have found a 3rd party app by Extended Systems (www.extendedsystems.com) called OneBridge Sync Server. $16,000 later this would work. A lot of money for a local gov't budget.
Has anyione had any luck syncing PocketPC PDA's with a Citrix based application?
