I'm running Windows Mobile 5 on my smartphone and want to know if/how I can play Quicktime mov files on it (program wise). Mediaplayer will not play mov files and I cannot find a Windows Mobile version of Quicktime.
Any ideas (other than converting the mov files to another format)?
Thanks.

Coreplayer (aka betaplayer) plays MOV files. its a very nice program and well worth the price. www.coreplayer.com

Hmm... that seems the best bet out of what I've been able to find, but when opening my Quicktime files, I get and error: "Player: video codec (sorenson video 3) not supported by the player"
It will then play only audio...
Any ideas?

yea... its a codec issue. meaning you dont have the software to play that file.
i think .MOV is whats called a container file. The contents of it can actually be another format. Try changing the file extension to AVI? Otherwise i think your out of luck.
I just use coreplayer and it plays whatever i throw at it. it can play anything an ipod can play. except for the protected stuff of course.
