Hello, This christmas after waiting for like 4 yrs b/c my parents wont let me get a pda since its to expensive I plan to get a pda. After studying these things for years I believe that the Palm Tungsten E is good for its price. I was wondering in your opinion (the reader of this question)if its worth getting. The reason being is that it comes with a load of good software and an mp3 player a 123 mhz proccesor and 32 mb or internal memory etc. I am open to any opinion or recomendation of any other pda that runs on the palm os. For some reason pocket pc doesnt look that reliable to me etc. Keep in mind that if you do reccomend something please let it be bellow $200. I thank you in advanced.

Element,
I was comparing that Palm with the HP Ipaq 1925. I was impressed with both, but I decided on the HP. One reason is that I usually like working with Windows, and it has a 204MHz processor, but the big thing is the battery on the Palm can not be replaced. You can't carry an extra battery if it runs down.
I did wind up buying the HP 1945 because Circuit City was out of the 1925. I love it, as it has a 266 processor....but $100 more.
But it had a tough learning curve. After a day and a half of cussing and swearing, I just about have it figured out. Microsoft boasts their programs, but give very little instruction.
Good luck.

My old PDA died so I've been researching new ones. I also like Palm OS and personally am planning to get a Sony TG50. It is heavier and has less RAM then the Tungsten E but a faster CPU, good software package, world wide rechanger and built-in keyboard (I never liked the Graffiti writing style) and cover. The cost is similar (around $250US online). Palm only has a 110V charger and I travel often so Sony seems like the better option for me.

Hope that helps.
