::)Hi,
I am using an IBM C3 workpad and until recently, it was working o.k., but now it has a strange problem. After I hot sync my PDA with my PC using Desk Palmtop, I am prompted to tap anywhere on the screen to reset the PDA, which is normal. However, after resetting, the screen does not respond to the stylus. It responds to a point about 2 inches vertically below the point where I tap the screen. The HOME icon doesn't work either. I can't do a manual calibration of the screen by using the selection on the top right hand corner of the screen or the HOME icon as they do not respond to the stylus or anything else.
The only thing I can do is to do a master reset by pressing and holding the reset button at the back of the PDA, turning it on, then releasing the reset button, after which I am prompted, 'Erase all data?' If I choose 'no', I have the same problem with the screen. If I choose 'yes', all data is erased and I am prompted to do use the stylus to calibrate the screen. Would anyone have any idea on how this problem can be rectified. Warmest regards.
