I have a Dell Axim X5 Pocket PC that has Windows 2002 and I would like to upgrade it to Windows 2003.
I have read that you can get a upgrade CD but just how do you go about upgrading the PDA?
Do you Connect the PDA to your PC (which I can do)and just run it from your PC?
Do you copy all the install files to a SD card, put it into the PDA and install it from there?
The reason I want to upgrade is that I'm running Vista and it's built in 'Windows Mobility Center' will not see the device unless it is 2003 and of course there is no ActiveSync for Vista.
I do also have a laptop the has WinXP on it that I use now for ActiveSync.
Second question...
I have a D-link wireless Compactflash card for the PDA but when I insert it, it will see the card but says 'Unrecognized Card'.Do I have to install drivers for the card first?
OH, did I mention I was a newbie to all this stuff :0)
Thanks for you help,
Debbie
