Comment:

Is it possible to connect an ipaq pocket pc
3630 to a nokia 6310i? I want to transfer
contacts and calander notes.

I have tried activating the irda on the pda
and then sending a business card via
infra red. The pda recognizes the phone,
but then continues to try and connect to it
without success.

Any advice would be appreciated

you would probably need some software for the ipaq to recognise the phone or maybe a driver for the phone

I think that the nokia 6310i is not fully IRDA2 complient

if im wrong anyone feel free to correct me

Nokia provides a free software suite which I have been using with my phone. Once I got my iRDA issues worked out, all was well.

BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR NOKIA MODEL
