PalmV synch w Outlook 2K Calendar

After synching the laptop with the palm every option selected syncs except for the outlook calendar. After the sync you get a window telling you to look at the error log. The error log tells you what did not synch from the calendar, and after looking in palm help it explains that the events are reoccuring and the palm does not support this option. However looking in Outlook these events are not reoccuring. Any suggestions/advise would be very much appreciated.
