Palm Zire hotsync on WinXP

I've recently bought a Palm Zire and till yesterday i wasn't able to hotsync it with my laptop, running winxp, using the usb port. My frustration was increasing specially after visiting a lot of forums where the story repeated itself many times. Well, this story has a happy ending because yesterday i've downloaded the latest version of palm desktop in versiontracker.com and now i can hotsync without problems.
