Palm Zire 31 & memory retention.

I've done the SEARCH thing, and I don't think I've found an exact answer... so here goes with the questioning!
If my Palm Zire 31 runs out of charge, will I permanantly lose all the Contact info, etc (ie. complete wipeout)? Or will it hold on to the phone numbers and stuff for a day or two?
