Palm Vx out of whack

After sitting on the Vx with the aluminum case (i.e. buttons depressed <up/down toggle> and always on because of it), my Vx is always giving me "Fatal Errors". It always require a soft reset and does a hard reset on its own. When I sync, it completes the sync, but does not install the new progs. It's always referring to some type of memory error 'cause the message tells me to try syncing again. It was working fine 'til the button depressing incident. I also tried installing OS3.5 but it won't complete the install. Please help...

try a hard reset and cut paste the backup folder in ur user name, also delete the programs inside install remove all the contents and perform a hotsync it should work
