I am VERY fluent with Visual Basic programming, I am also very good with JavaScript. I need to write a program for a friend's Palm Pilot. I do not have a Palm Pilot myself, and I was wondering if there is any way to program for Palm using JavaScript or VB. I have some, but VERY LITTLE knowledge of C++ as well. I would like to stay away from it if possible. But if that's the way to program for it, can anyone help me out and give me some tips/sample code? If it's possible to use JavaScript or Visual Basic, can you also help me out there and give me a starting point? I would appreciate it so much, and so would my friend. Thank you.

I'm not a programmer per say but have just recently started to program for the palm. Now from what I've heard you can get an addon for VB, now I applogize I've forgoten the name but it's out there. I use a program called PocketC which is pretty straight forward but when making standalon .PRC files it generally makes them alot bigger than the norm. In your case knowing VB and java you shouldn't have a problem. I know that most people use C/C++ but there are other ways around it.
the addin he's talking about is AppForge it's prety good but you cant use any of the components of visual basic. it comes with its own components if ever you would find a good soft for that please email me at babas151@yahoo.com
