Hi. I am in the market for a palm zire 71. I was wondering if while i was listening to mp3s can i use other applications on the palm e.g. web browser. Or is it a strictly single-tasking operating system?

Actually i am using a sony clie and yes i can listen to music and work at the same time, and no it is not a real multi task software, it works for music as a side soft

Moberry- I actually own a Zire 71 and have been very happy with it. My only concern is that of how to change the battery. Ideas anyone? i got a Tungsten T well basically, to change the battery, u need to open ur Zire 71 up, which mite spoil it if u r not n expert or void de warranty. So u need to take it bk to Palmone, but i heard tt dey do not provide Battery changing service, so perhaps if de batt die, u ll have to buy a new Palm... Oso regarding tode mp3 prob by moberry, well yes u can absolutely listen 2 mp3 n use other apps at de same time, at de expense tt ur CPU seed would b slower. Try out Pocket Tunes and Aeroplayer. They r de best Palm media player around. Search 4 dem at plamgear.com.

my Zire72 will not even lag a bit when it comes to multitasking
